 Aaron Batson
You may remember seeing Aaron Batson on one of the television episodes of Georgia Outdoor News (GON-TV), where he demonstrated his specialty of skipping docks and fishing structure on Lake Oconee. And, if you have ever fished in one of the many bass tournaments on Lake Oconee over the years, you have probably run across Aaron. He has fished in dozens of bass tournaments on the lake and won many—with his best five-fish sack weighing over 23 pounds. Aaron has fished Lake Oconee since it was built and consistently catches a limit of largemouth bass. He lives in Covington, GA, and is a well known tournament fisherman on Lake Jackson and Lake Sinclair, too.
Editor’s Note: Aaron compiled the week-by-week fishing methods and suggestions for lures in this book based on his logs and journal entries which he has kept for each time he fished on Lake Oconee over the last several years.

 Jerry Whitlock
Jerry Whitlock has also become a Lake Oconee expert. You will find Jerry and his wife, Rita, on the lake three or four days most weeks, where they live part-time. Jerry grew up fishing lakes, creeks and rivers with his father. They often stalked lunker bass in the farm ponds in Clayton and Fayette counties, and on Lake Jackson - where Jerry first learned to fish with crankbaits and plastic worms. Now he spends over 100 days a year on Lake Oconee pursuing largemouth bass. He is always exploring the lake, looking for the hiding places of bass and testing new equipment and fishing techniques. When he is not on Lake Oconee, he runs his industrial seal and gasket company, EPM, Inc. , located in Stockbridge, GA.
